You could use snap towers on the later levels

Its when you sell a tower a creep passed, making it go back because a shorter way to the end opened up. When it gets close enough, you place another tower there. It will then go back on the way it usually did. You then do this over and over again, to make the creep go back and forth, not going anywhere, but still taking damage.

ive got a 120 mbps router and when i play online on desktop td it lags loads when theres alot of creeps does it happen to you?
